I'm about 5 foot 4 inches, too tall for a hobbit but too short for an elf. I've been told that my features are distinctly elven, and I could easily be mistaken for one in Middle Earth. I am light on my feet and speak and sing Elvish well. My eyes are bright blue and my hair is fair and white.
One of my favorite things to do is pencil sketching, but unfortunately, I don't have a scanner so I can't share my wonderful artwork with you all. Any advice on how I could do this since I am pretty much computer illiterate would be useful and much appreciated. I also love to read fantasy, and Tolkien and Lewis got me hooked. The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Space Trilogy, The Silmarillion, The Archives of Anthropos by John White, Madeleine L'engle's books, and many, many others I have read again and again. I am a fan of Ireland and Celtic music...Enya, no doubt! So enjoy my page as lacking as it is, and I'm open to suggestions!
My favorite characters are:Aragorn - I love how Aragorn is non-conformist to the world of men and he doesn't submit to the power and evil of the ringArwen - She sacrifices her immortality to be with Aragorn and goes against her father and the rest of her people for loveElrond - Elrond is a wise healer...he is serious...but merry at the same time. He is willing to admit when he has been proven wrongFrodo Baggins - Frodo did a very brave thing and risked his life to save Middle Earth, knowing his life would never be the same if he survivedGaladriel - Wise and humble Galadriel...she also stood the test of the power of the ringGandalf - A powerful wizard, but merry and more down to Earth than any of the other Istari, he fell in love with hobbits especiallyGimli - The one Dwarf who was named Elf-friend, he takes the cake with being sweet with wordsLegolas - Developed a close friendship with Gimli, and saved his life and his pride on many occasionsMeriadoc Brandybuck - Merry brought comic relief to the story with quite a bit of troublemaking, but soon became a brave warrior and wounded the witch-king of AngmarPeregrin Took - After a long time of following Merry's lead, Pippin finally learns to strike out on his ownSamwise Gamgee - Faithful friend and servant of Frodo, never left his master's side through all dangers. Plus, the guy who played him in the movie, Sean Astin, looks just like my brother!Treebeard - Fangorn had quite a personality, and I respect his slow decisions and his hospitality towards Merry and Pippin. Last of all, I would like to complain that Tom Bombadil is not on this list. The poor guy always gets skipped! He's important, darn it! And I
